Vesta Culinary Event 2! Learn How To French A Rack Of Lamb and Make An Amazing Risotto!

Saturday September 16th, 2017 marks our second Vesta Culinary Series event at our showroom at 1402 Star Top Road!

Ilya Dyagilev of La Roma restaurant will be performing a live in kitchen demonstration and showing those in attendance how to properly french a rack of lamb and make Italian risotto.

Wine and cheese will be served and we will be drawing a raffle for a chance to win $150 at La Roma restaurant.

Ilya Dyagilev has been cooking up a storm for over 12 years since graduating from the Algonquin Culinary  school in Ottawa. He has been an integral part of the La Roma kitchen for just over 10 years where he has been inspired by Northern Italian cuisine and French influences. As the Chef, Ilya overseas the entire kitchen and inspires and develops menus for seasonal cooking and Wine and Food pairing events. Working with meat and game is Ilya’s passion as he is a fine butcher and sausage maker. His specialties are not limited to but certainly include wild boar, lamb and duck.
In his spare time, Ilya enjoys cooking for family and friends and boating with loved ones.
